Anxiety disorder treatment

Treatment decisions are based on how significantly anxiety disorder is affecting your ability to function in your daily life. The two main treatments for anxiety disorder are Psychotherapy and Medications. You may benefit most from a combination of the two.

Depression (major depressive disorder) treatment

Medications and psychotherapy are effective for most people with depression. Many types of antidepressants are available. You may need a single medication or a combination of medications. This requires patience, as some medications need several weeks or longer to take full effect.

Schizophrenia 'or' Psychosis treatment

Schizophrenia requires lifelong treatment, even when symptoms have subsided. Treatment with medications and psychosocial therapy can help manage the condition. In some cases, hospitalization may be needed.

Bipolar Disorder Treatment

Bipolar disorder is a lifelong condition. Treatment is directed at managing symptoms. Depending on your needs, treatment may include Medications, Hospitalization.

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder treatment

Obsessive-compulsive disorder treatment may not result in a cure, but it can help bring symptoms under control so that they don’t rule your daily life. Depending on the severity of OCD, some people may need long-term, ongoing or more intensive treatment.

The two main treatments for OCD are psychotherapy and medications. Often, treatment is most effective with a combination of these.

Drug Addiction Treatment

Although there’s no cure for drug addiction, the treatment options can help you overcome an addiction and stay drug-free. Your treatment depends on the drug used and any related medical or mental health disorders you may have. Long-term follow-up is important to prevent relapse.

Relaxation and deep breathing exercise

Relaxation techniques are a great way to help with stress management. Relaxation isn’t only about peace of mind or enjoying a hobby. Relaxation is a process that decreases the effects of stress on your mind and body.

Take a deep breath in. Now let it out. You may notice a difference in how you feel already. Your breath is a powerful tool to ease stress and make you feel less anxious. Some simple breathing exercises can make a big difference if you make them part of your regular routine.
